Someone does the work. Someone pays for it.
Employment is one of the oldest agreements there is. Everything else was built around it: the registrations, the insurance, the pension, the deductions, the forms at the end of the year. All of it exists for good reasons. All of it still has to be done by somebody.
So most people who hire a cleaner, a nanny or a carer leave it undone. The right way takes more effort than the easy one, and nobody checks. Worldwide, more than eight in ten people working in private homes are never declared. They go without accident cover, a pension or a contract, often while working for people who would never accept that for themselves.
quinn does everything that comes after “I’d like to employ you.”
You tell us who you employ, what you pay and from when. That is the last administrative decision you make. quinn registers the employment, runs payroll every month, pays the salary and the contributions, and handles whatever comes up, from a sick week to someone leaving. You stay the employer. We take responsibility for the administration.
We think employing someone should be as ordinary as paying for anything else. Nobody working off the books, because doing it right stopped being the harder way. And the person who looks after your home is covered the way you are, without either of you having to think about it.
Today you find us at quitt.ch in Switzerland, go-quitt.de in Germany, quinn.uk in the United Kingdom and, for companies, quitt.business.
We are building the next version of quinn right now.
Stay tuned.
